Sloe (Prunus-spinosa)
Sloe is one of the oldest wild fruit BRANDY. Blackthorn bushes have an abundance of white flowers in spring. The fruit is a small, blackish, marble-sized berry with an acidic pulp. It is picked after the first frosts, which make it sweeter. It is an BRANDY produced by maceration which is discreetly perfumed.
