Description
The quetsche also originates from the East, more precisely from Damascus from where it would have been imported a long time ago to develop particularly in Alsace. It is a fruit of the plum family, purplish in colour and oblong in shape with an elongated stone and a yellow, sweet flesh.
After distillation, we obtain an brandy of commoner appearance, with a debonair and rustic flavour that readily recalls the aroma of the fruit.
