Description
The Mirabelle plum is a typical fruit of our regions of Eastern France and the reputation of the Mirabelle de Lorraine is well established. This fruit has existed for a very long time in our regions and was imported from the East by the Crusaders.
The fruit, picked when ripe, ferments in vats and, after distillation, gives off its characteristic sweetness. It is the eau de vie par excellence which remains, more than any other, faithful to the aroma of the fruit.
