Gentian is a yellow flower from the high mountains whose root is the raw material necessary for the maceration and distillation to produce this brandy. After having left the washed and crushed roots to macerate in vats for 8 weeks, distillation can begin. The resulting brandy is probably the most suitable as a digestive. Its bitter taste is enveloped in surprising aromas of heather and fern that remind us of the mountain tops. Be careful, however, Gentian is a protected plant and it is forbidden to pick it without special permission.
